Middleman for DonutSMP trades
1% of each deal
A middleman holds one side of a deal so that two people who do not know each other can trade safely. We hold the money, the spawners or the base until both sides have what they agreed.
You and the other party decide who covers the fee: one of you, or half each.
Three kinds of deal
- Money held
- The buyer pays us. We pay the seller once both sides confirm the deal is done.
- Spawners held
- Item deals are for spawners only. The buyer picks the spawner type and the quantity from a list, so there is nothing to mistype. The buyer pays us, the seller passes the spawners to us through an ender chest, and we check the type and count against the pick. We hand the spawners to the buyer first and then pay the seller. Nobody needs to confirm anything.
- Base handover
- The buyer pays us, so the money goes through us and never straight to the seller. The seller teleports us to the base. The buyer reads a written description of it and approves it, then both sides release. We take the buyer to the base and pay the seller.
How a deal runs
- Press the middleman button in our Discord server. A private ticket opens that only you, the person you invite and our staff can see.
- Agree the deal in the ticket: the money or the spawners, the price, and who covers the fee.
- The buyer pays us. The seller hands us the spawners or shows us the base. On a money deal, both sides confirm instead.
- We release. The buyer gets the goods first, then the seller is paid. If you sent more than the agreed amount, the difference is returned to you automatically.
Either side can freeze a deal at any point, and our staff settle it from there.
